Prolance Marine Flooring provides the most secure flooring solutions (IMO and MED certified) for production platforms, work vessels and oil vessels. We are also specialists in window and flooring solutions for cruise ships and yachts.
Production platforms are operational for 24 hours; the crew works long shifts up to 12 hours a day. Prolance helps creating a warm and comfortable interior for all members of the platform. From mess room and galley to sleeping quarters – there is a perfect solution for each area. Prolance Marine Flooring also ensures that the production platform remains operational, during the installation of the floors. Very efficient and practical for the client!
Types of floors for production platforms
Prolance Marine Flooring uses different types of floors for the production platforms. For example, in the control rooms a PVC (vinyl) or rubber floor is commonly applied, the corridors and the staircase are mainly provided with carpet tiles and the bathroom, toilet or galley is generally enhanced with an Epoxy or PU resin floor.
All our service engineers successfully completed the required trainings in order to work on the production platforms (NOGEPA/BOSIET certificates).
Furthermore, all our flooring solutions comply with the IMO and MED certification. The International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) has set this standard for international shipping. With this certification, safety and the environment are put first.
