Prolance: the floor specialist at Europort 2019
At Europort 2019, the Prolance Marine Flooring team met an increase of 10% in the number of visitors compared to the year before. From their new and improved stand, Prolance was able to communicate all there was to know about their IMO-certified flooring systems and recently realized projects. Simon Langstraat, account manager at Prolance Marine Flooring, briefly explains how he experienced Europort.
Looking back at Europort
Simon: “The four-day trade fair went very well and our new and inviting booth was particularly busy on Thursday. People came to the booth from all over the world. Places like Asia, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. We spoke with many new international prospects and caught up with our current clients and told them about our new floor systems. ”
Noise controlling floor systems for ships
“The launch of the noise controlling floor systems was our key objective,” says Simon. Prolance offers various noise controlling floor systems for maximum noise reduction. These floor systems reduce different types of noise and are used in different areas of a ship. Our complete floor systems are minimal in thickness and weight, maximum in noise reduction and very cost-effective in the long term. Simon: “We deliver, install and maintain the safest floor solutions for shipping. For example, all Prolance noise controlling floor systems comply with IMO and MED certification and with the requirements regulated in the SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea).”
New maritime floor projects 2020
Prolance realises projects all over the world. Simon: “Every day we work with passion and enjoyment on our projects for the offshore industry. From the new customer contacts made during Europort, we expect to be carrying out a number of exciting projects in the Netherlands, Europe and Asia in 2020. Quality, flexibility and safety are of great importance during the entire project process, going from the first consultation to the final evaluation.
